Dear Mr and Mrs Smith,

My name is Rohit Hasha I am an ‘English Homestay’ participant whom you chose to stay with you according to the program. Thank you for choosing me. Since you have already read my profile, I can only add that I am excited about finally meeting you.
Since I am new to the country, could you please answer a couple of questions regarding the UK? Firstly, is there a possibility to exchange Indian currency somewhere in the country? I had some issues with that in the Netherlands. Secondly, is it easy to get around the country without a car? Unfortunately, my driving license isn’t valid in the UK.
I also wanted to let you know that my plane arrives to London on the 17th of January, at 9:00 AM. I would highly appreciate, if it is possible, if you could peek me up at the airport.
I am looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Kind regards,
Rohit Hasha

Task 2:
Numerous professionals argue whether the loyalty to a single company should last over a lifetime or a change should be made at least once. I actually hold strong feelings on the matter, as job-hopping expands one’s view on business area he or she works in and provide more chances to find a fair employment.
Firstly, changing company can give a wider look on the alternative business models and company structures. Sometimes, joining a new team may help to rediscover a genuine purpose of a professional. For example, a software developer who worked for service-based company can realize that his or her genuine call is to be a product manager after landing a job in a product-based enterprize. Therefore, I completely support the idea of trying another employer at least a single time.

Secondly, sometimes dedicated employees may be treated inappropriately by their employers and do not know about that. Not only can a brilliant professional be underpaid, but also he or she can become a victim of nepotism and stagnate on the career ladder. For instance, a recent survey conducted by Glassdoor has shown, that 32% of people, who changed their job in 2016, complained that they were highly underestimated at their previous company and only after leaving realized they that. Consequently, seen in this light, it is obvious that trying new employer can be highly beneficial for an employee.

To conclude, based on the examples given I firmly believe that changing jobs at least once in a career is important to understand how the labour market works and what a skilled individual can receive in return for the effort.
