Whether people should follow the advances of technology or technology should follow the human’s needs has grown in importance over the last few decades. I believe that technology should adapt to the people’s need in other to develop the intelligence. This essay will illustrate these benefits along with examples from the University of Moscow and from the Biotechnological Institute of Rio de Janeiro to demonstrate points and prove arguments.

Primarily, technologies exist to safe and protect human’s life. It is because, with the advance of technology, the way that people live has improves exponentially and it has helped many profession fields such as medicine, art and education. Recent studies by the Biotechnological Institute of Rio de Janeiro have shown that from the past five years 125 vaccines were invented in regard to the innovative equipment used for the researches. Therefore, if the technologic innovations were not presented in our society it is clear that many diseases would be still without a cure.

Additionally, digital innovations have leveraged the children’s learning process. Although some people argue that nowadays, students are not proactive in relation to search for informations, it is clear that with the advances of internet and smartphones, adolescents have been exposed to more data and consequently it has helped them to obtain more knowledge. A recent survey in the University of Moscow has indicated that 55% of the students have learned, the total subject of the annual course, in the first semester.

To conclude, people should encourage the innovation of technology in other to improve their lives and enhance their intelligence level.

This essay will show the options available for this chances along with examples from public institutions in Brazil to demonstrate pointes and prove arguments.

Firstly, nowadays many ways to prepare students has emerged. The consume of video streaming, has definitely helped numerous of institutions to make their pupils learn in an enjoyable manner. For instance, in Brazil the mayor of Rio de Janeiro has launched a program called ‘School of the Future’ where the main goal is to provide video content to adolescents with a totally different concept of teaching. As consequence, students that have joined this program found the topics in the videos very pleasant to learn.

Secondly, the typical education arrangement has disengaged many students from the last ten years. Although people believe that this loss are mainly caused by unprepared parents, it is clear that the major problem still inside of the institutions that have been damaging the learn experience of the students. Recent studies from the Federal University of São Paulo Brazil, have shown that high school dropouts have grown 23% since 2010 due the fact that actual schools are not ready to deal with the modern students.

To sum up, it is must be acknowledged that an education reform is needed because of the evolution of human life.

The level of urbanization has increased drastically for the last fifty years. Growing population density is one of the most challenging issues to be addressed by governments around the globe. One of the most obvious solutions is to encourage corporations build their business facilities outside the crowded cities. This essay will consider the pros and cons of this solution considering ecological and transport aspects and referring to a real world example.
It is statistically proved that production sites and road vehicles are responsible for the major share of carbon dioxide emissions. Thus, relocating manufacturing and corporate headquarters from megalopolises brings a sufficient improvement of the air quality. In addition, redirecting the flow of workers commuting to work allows to reduce traffic congestion. Indeed, many employees whose job locations have been transferred to suburbs acknowledge that they substantially decrease the time spent getting to work. Therefore, by moving companies from large cities governments are killing two birds with one stone, they improve ecology and battle road congestion.
However, the solution also comprises some problems and challenges. Reportedly, almost fifty per cent of the companies whose business facilities are located outside large cities suffer from the lack of the skilled labour force. The Russian unit of Danone stated that since they relocated their local headquarters from Moscow, the staff turnover has increased by 10%. Moreover, Danone’s HR department could spend up to ten months on the recruitment of a skilled employee. Consequently, although there are benefits from moving corporations from megalopolises, employers could suffer from the lack of skilled labour resources.
In conclusion, the aforementioned advantages, in my view, far more outweigh the problems associated with the solution. Thus, corporations should be encouraged to move their production sites and headquarters outside the cities with a high level of population density.

On the one hand, visiting new countries and learning other cultures helps to become open-minded. In addition, it is generally recommended by psychologists that change of activity and place is probably the best way to recover. Moreover, tourism could economically develop the territory that attracts travellers. For example, Thailand, which is famous for its beautiful nature and world known cuisine, generates up to 70% of its GDP from tourism. Moreover, crowds of visitors, by themselves, represent sever danger for the environment of a hosting place as well. The number of people engaging in travel is swelling rapidly and this is a trend that does not appear to be slowing at all. Even if there are many clear perks of travelling, there are many who believe that it has some disadvantages. Although expenses are the main negative of travelling, it broadens the horizons to explore the new places and culture.

First of all, travelling expands the opportunity to visit interesting places and meeting new people around the globe. It is connected with getting to know other cultures and traditions which is surely valuable. In addition, it is usually said that journeys educate, so whilst travelling as well as can make our knowledge wider. For instance, my father encouraged me to travel abroad at least once in a year and this has opened up several avenues for my friendship with foreigners, I would not have otherwise had. Thus, it is clear that there is ample evidences that suggest that travelling can have certain advantages in our lives.

On the other hand, journeys have some crucial disadvantages. Firstly, the costs of travelling are often quiet high for example travelling by plane, so naturally not everyone can afford. Furthermore, travelling can lead to fall ill and maybe then to expensive treatment or in case of the unmitigated disaster like for instance car and aerial one to death of many people. For example, a recent survey by the IMF found that 4 days Europe tour would cost on average of $5,000. Therefore, there are clear drawbacks of travelling which we have to consider.

In conclusion, travelling is a very good way of spending time. It can educate, give impressions, nice memories and let make friends. However, travelling in spite of its whole advantages, it should not be the only way to learn about the world.

TASK-1

The map displays a plan of a main floor and lower level are of the house.

The Lower level has a total area of 798 square feel which includes a bedroom, a bathroom, an activity room, a laundry and the terrace. A 109 square feet bedroom is located on the north-west which has one closet. A laundry is on the east of the bedroom and a bathroom is in the laundry room. There is an activity room in the south of the plan which is the biggest on the lower level with 227 square feet.

The main floor has three different sized bedrooms on its west side. The area of bedroom 1,2, and 3 is 129,109 and 106 square feet respectively. Bedroom 1 contains a bathroom as well. Right side of the main entrance is 146 square feet living room and across the hallway is 119 square feet kitchen. A 129 square feet dining room is right next to the kitchen on the northeast. A 219 square feet garage is on the southeast part of the plan.

Overall, the main floor area is bigger and has more rooms than lower level area. Both level has bedroom which is the similarity.

Firstly, vocabulary is an important part of reading, and to understand the gist of the text. In other words, if the student is familiarize with the meaning of the words, then he can figure out the concept of the text. Moreover, vocabulary will also help them in communication whether speaking or writing. On the positive side, people with good vocabulary will be able to express themselves clearly and succinctly.
However, the focus on English usage may create difference in learning methodologies. Some people have to focus on learning English for their daily usage; and they need good speaking and writing. Of course with limited vocabulary they can express their views and feelings, but they may not be able to express in effective way.
To sum up, with limited vocabulary one can focus on productive skills of english usage. But on the long run, they may not be able to have effective communication. In addition, knowledge on vocabulary is essential part of efficient and analytical reading. In a word, vocabulary is integral part for effective communication and reading.
