The people have different notions about learning Vocabulary ; A common opinion is that reading is more efficent for acquiring vocabulary than other skills, another opinion is that writting and speaking have more advantages for learning words. This essay will discuss both views.
Advocated of the idea of reading have better impact learning vocabulay that is supported by stayed in concentrate. When people read a book , they just concentrate to book. Moreover, they just look pages that is why nothing can be barier to concentrate. Learning words are quite simple with concentrate. While reading process, they also consider to purpose of sentece. These situations help to keep in mind word easily with concentrate. Unlike productive skills, words is likely to stay in their mind completly therefore it is hard to concentrate words with writting and speaking .A case in point that A physchology study about process of learning vocabulary shows that most people need concentrate to acquire words , this situation come true with reading skills.
On the other hand, Writting and speaking are command by people’s brain. Furthermore, when people write words or speak with words, people’s brain will be active to learn any words. In addition, writting skill reflect visual memory for people and this provides learning words with ease. Therefore productive abilities are more significant than reading because brain command and active-brain which arguments are indispensible for learning vocabulary. For instance, I have been interesting to learn words since 2002. Most of words that I know ,I have learned with writting exercises and speaking.
When everything is taken into consideration, I strongly believe that productive skills should be accounted for acquiring words. People need to use active brain ,one way to explain this situation that they should write or talk what words they want to learn.
