Pollution is the process of making the land, water and air or the other parts of the environment dirty and unsafe to use. This essay will tackle various reasons and solutions by giving examples like excessive carbon dioxide and limits in driving to demonstrate points and support arguments.
The advent of industrialised world and competitive global market in large metropolitan areas contributes to the problem of pollution. For instance, carbon dioxide is considered to be the largest contributor of pollutants in the whole country. This is associated with power plants and all types of transportation that involve burning fossil fuels. Therefore, this facilitates unhealthy environment as well as predispose people to suffer possible detrimental effects of climate change caused by the pollutants.
There are several ways to minimize pollution. Firstly, the government should impose higher tariffs to those companies like factories and car dealers. Hence, they can conserve energy and pollute less. Secondly, set a limit for emission of carbon dioxide worldwide. By this measure, it will keep global temperatures within normal rate preventing further climate change. Lastly, the government needs to take action by introducing green energy such as wind energy and solar energy. Thus, minimize the burning fossil fuels which cause heavy air pollution.
In conclusion, the government plays an important role to minimize the occurrence of this problem as this result into climate change which is uncontrollable by nature. The government should educate the public about this matter by broadcasting and writing journals in order to gain awareness and cooperation.
