Currently, I study the restaurant business in the Kiev University of Economics, in my second year and search for a summer job in order to help my parents to pay my expensive tuition I would like you to consider my candidacy since I believe my profile fits perfectly to the vacancy.
Firstly, I have already worked for an establishment similar to your restaurant by type and size for 6 months. Secondly, I have two-years experience of working at a vineyard in Odessa where I acquired extensive knowledge of types of grapes, wines and bottles. In addition, last summer I participated in a local wine experts competition in Vancouver and 15th place out of 200 participants.
I hope my achievements will persuade you to make positive decision.

Task 2:
Countless environmentalists try to bring public attention to dramatically escalating environmental situation, especially in big cities. I strongly agree on the matter, as some landfills, these days, intrude city’s’ outskirts, despite the fact that issue can be easily solved by enforcing garbage sorting in local communities.
To begin with, the situation with excessive waste disposal has started hitting capitals and regional centers. This is because the amount of trash produced in those areas overshadows the capabilities of local communities to transport and process it. For instance, a recent report from the Ministry of Ecology of Ukraine has shown, that in 2016 the amount of disposed garbage in Kiev has risen by 17% while the number of garbage trucks increased only by 9%. Therefore, it is obvious that volume of waste has gone out of control in the capital.
One of the efficient solutions to this issue is garbage sorting. The majority of entrepreneurs prefer investing in garbage business only if the vast expenses on the sorting can be avoided. For example, forty years ago, Swedish government passed the law which made separate containers for different trash mandatory in cities with population over 150,000 citizens. As the result, more than 250 new trash collecting and processing enterprises hit the market the next year. This considerably helped to reduce area of landfills. Consequently, incorporation of garbage sorting is undoubtedly a brilliant solution to landfills expansion.
To sum up, based on the examples given, I firmly believe that the increase of waste in big cities imposes vast risk on the environment. Practicing garbage sorting can rapidly resolve the issue.
