To begin with, it is true that new generations are from their early age in contact with technology. This is because it is impossible to avoid it these days, from smartphones, laptops and tablets at home to informatisation of transport, monetary and health system. This inevitable influence will most certainly familiarize children with wonders of technology but will not armed them with necessary knowledge. For example, recent findings from Harvard University show that even 2-year olds can use gadgets and understand some of its simple functions, but this doesn’t influence their later academic success.
Furthermore,computer science is not only gadgets and useful programs, it is a higher order of thinking. A complex and meticulously designed strategy is needed in order to teach students all advantages and limitations of computer technology. They can be prepared for problem-solving tasks with computer assistance and know when it is required to use their own abilities rather than rely on technology. For instance, UNESCO released a paper on computer education where it is clearly showed that chances of a good employment are 50% lower without it.
In conclusion, I believe that it is absolutely justified to include computer education in all schools as this knowledge is a necessary investment into the future. Technology is all around us but children benefit from it only partially unless they are properly guided.

Art is the final stage of the human development. Governments have a duty to create opportunities for citizens to enjoy it but only after fundamental entitlements have been taken care off. This essay will use findings of respected sociologists and psychologists to back up this viewpoint.
To begin with, it is often argued that the money spent on arts could have been put to a better use. Everyday worries often overshadow the beautiful world of imagination. The truth is that most people having existential problems can hardly enjoy any art and they expect from their governments to support something completely different rather than a famous exhibition or a theatre play. For example, sociologists from Harvard University recently showed that 60% of interviewed citizens of New York City would rather choose a free supermarket coupon than a ticket to a play. Therefore, unless fundamental problems are resolved most people will not appreciate art.
Looking at things from the other perspective, citizens can just the same easily escape reality full of problems by the given opportunity to enjoy something different and inspiring. This is because most people have a need to develop emotionally as well as physically. For instance, psychologists from Cambridge University found that participating in any art-related activity can enhance mood by 70%.For this obvious reason it is justified for governments to invest money into art.
In conclusion, there are strong arguments, pros and cons, for investing money into art. I believe it is justified and contributes greatly, but it should not be a priority over the basic human needs.
