People from all walks of life, both young and old, enjoy travelling either locally or overseas. This essay will suggest that the opportunity to gain important experience is the biggest advantage, while high expense is the primary disadvantage.

To start with, visiting different countries not only broadens one’s perspective but also teach the individual to cope with different situation. This is because when travelling abroad, people encounter new things and interesting places. For instance, in most cases, people who travelled a lot in life were ready to embrace change and have a natural ability of overcoming problems compared to those who travelled less. Therefore, travelling stimulates a person’s resourcefulness by encountering new experiences.

Despite this advantage, one cannot afford to ignore the cost incurred in travelling. This is due to the fact that it requires a large sum of money which is connected with transport, accommodation, food and unexpected fees. Travels are usually expensive and an average man sometimes cannot afford to spend on such vacation especially in European countries where cost of living is incredibly high. For example, a survey conducted by the Tourism Department in the Philippines showed that a savings of $10,000 over the past two years is not enough for any length of time spend on vacation. As a result, travelling indeed is extremely expensive.

In conclusion, travelling is a wonderful adventure with meaningful experiences, however, along with this a huge sum of money is needed to make travelling possible.

Task 1
The diagram shows a two-storey house plan with a size of approximately 2500 square feet.

The first three bedrooms are located in the main floor area with two bathrooms adjacent to the first bedroom. The stairs connecting the two floors is leading to the fourth bedroom which is in the lower level. A laundry area and a bathroom is next to it, also a huge activity room is located in this area.

The living room is near to the main entrance of the house. The kitchen is situated in front of the living room and in between the dining area and lavatory and storage room. The garage which is noticeably huge has a small door that allows entry to the house.

Overall, it is clear that the house has four bedrooms all similar in size. It is also noticeable that the largest area in the house is the activity area and the garage.
